HTA’s Easter Hamper Appeal will provide food hampers for struggling families and Easter Eggs for children in Runcorn and Widnes

As Easter approaches, we are proud to announce the launch of our annual Halton Easter Hamper Appeal.

This year, we have already received 162 requests for Easter food hampers, each costing £25.

These hampers provide vital support to families living in poverty, ensuring that children have access to nutritious meals over the Easter period.

In addition, we have received requests for just under 690 Easter eggs for disadvantaged families.

Your support can make a significant difference in brightening the Easter celebrations for these families and spreading joy throughout our community.

Together, we can spread hope and joy throughout Halton. Donate today and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.

How it started…

The Halton Christmas Toy Appeal Story

After splitting with my partner I had no money to my name. It was close to Christmas and I desperately needed help.

I searched high and low so that I could give my children a present to open on Christmas Day and found that there were no local organisations or charities that could help me.

It was so stressful, the thought of Christmas day with no presents for my children to open was unbearable. I struggled massively, not knowing where to turn. Luckily a family member stepped in and helped.

Looking back after Christmas I couldn’t believe that there was no help available in Halton for families in this situation. Every organisation that I spoke to were unable to help.

I promised myself that when I got back on my feet again I would start a toy appeal to help provide Christmas presents for local children who would otherwise go without.

We have gone from strength to strength helping underprivileged Halton children and families along the way.

Please find it in your heart to help families less fortunate at Christmas.
