Filling Lunchboxes and Spreading Joy Across Widnes and Runcorn!

Kids love summer, right? Sun, fun, and…

rumbling tummies?

Sadly, for 137 Halton families, school holidays mean worrying about the next meal.

But here’s where you come in!

Got a spare £4? That’s all it takes to keep a kid’s belly full for a week.

We’re talking proper packed lunches – sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt, the works.

Jump on board our “Summer Lunches Campaign” train and you’re not just filling hungry tummies.  You’re firing up potential, planting smiles, and making our community stronger.

Think about it – £24 sorts out a kid’s lunch for the whole 6-week holiday.

That’s a whole summer without hunger pangs!

Will you help make sure no Halton kid faces summer with an empty stomach?

Your generosity today could be the sunshine in a child’s tomorrow.

Don’t wait – donate now and let’s cook up a storm of summer smiles!

How it started…

The Halton Christmas Toy Appeal Story

After splitting with my partner I had no money to my name. It was close to Christmas and I desperately needed help.

I searched high and low so that I could give my children a present to open on Christmas Day and found that there were no local organisations or charities that could help me.

It was so stressful, the thought of Christmas day with no presents for my children to open was unbearable. I struggled massively, not knowing where to turn. Luckily a family member stepped in and helped.

Looking back after Christmas I couldn’t believe that there was no help available in Halton for families in this situation. Every organisation that I spoke to were unable to help.

I promised myself that when I got back on my feet again I would start a toy appeal to help provide Christmas presents for local children who would otherwise go without.

We have gone from strength to strength helping underprivileged Halton children and families along the way.

Please find it in your heart to help families less fortunate at Christmas.
